Westly and Molly
by: Linda Wraith

Thank you, Cam. I appreciate that you took the time to write. My matriarch standard poodle, Coco, was a rescue when she was three years old. I posted a little tribute to her a year or two ago. If you can't read it here you can find it by googling my name (Linda Wraith). It was a huge adjustment for both of us but I think we taught each other a lot about what forever means. I'd love to hear more about Molly. How old? What were her circumstances? How did you find her? Had you been owned by a standard poodle before?

I call Wee Westly a bonsai standard poodle. He is a boy from the streets and has strong survival instincts. I have no doubt that he has toppled a few garbage cans for chow.

Hooray for you and Molly. She is blessed to have you. If you are like me, I don't want a medal. I don't even want praise. But it means the world to me when someone takes the time to give us a little cuber hug and say, "good job."
Best to you and Molly, wherever you are. Thanks again.

Westly

Yea for you! Westly is so cute!. As a mom of a rescued standard poodle I understand how "unusual" they are. Molly took 6 months to warm up to my husband, and still has nightmares in her sleep. God bless you for taking in a needy one!
