i have a little tightness in my heart for reading your words. How lucky are were to find your doggie. I just lost a standard our family had for 10 years and though I look and look I cannot find a replacement. We all miss our Hunter so much and wish we could turn back time to enjoy him again. Enjoy your clown, standards are our best friends!

I have two rescued Standards both boys and they are the love of my life, I enjoy their company and it is so much fun grooming them, they love to look great. My newest rescue has finished his first 8 week Obedience class and is doing so well, they sure are quick learners.

I'm glad you took in that beautiful girl. Female standards are the sweetest, smartest dogs in the world. I lost mine Aug.19th and I still feel a big hole in my heart and my eyes fill with tears when I think of her. I had her for 11 1/2 yrs and will always miss her.
