I hope Lily has come through all of her issues. We recently had our toy poodle in for bad teeth - when they tried to extract his large molar they broke his jaw. We took him to a dog oral surgeon who told us that as your breed dogs down to smaller sizes that their teeth do not shrink as fast as everything else, so that by the time they are toy or smaller the roots of the larger teeth go practically all the way through their jaw, so broken jaws during extractions on small dogs are very common.
Because the oral surgeon said it was fairly like that the break would not heal properly (he is fourteen) instead he recommended cleaning up the ends of the break so that they are smooth, and then just leaving them. We have to cream his dog food in the blender, but he is doing fine.
The vet said that dogs can even have both sides of their jaws broken and still be OK with soft food.

I hope lilly is well. did she get surgery? I know of non profit vets but they still charge and I'm having similar problem I actually purchased my loving teacup poodle in Brazil and she has the same problem with her back knees on both right and left and am trying to borrow money anyway possible to pay her surgery. It is so hard to see her this way. She's my only hope and all I look forward to when I come home. I wish you the best and Lilly!

I'm so sad to hear all about what poor lily has gone through.I don't know how anyone could harm or abuse a poor innocent animal, that can't even have a say in how they are hurting or being treated so terrable.They look up to us to take care of them and show them their way and to make them so sad and suffering is un believable what some people do to these innocent animals.Hang in there, lily as i'm praying for you...Hugs and Kisses from an owner and Lover of Poodles!
