penn valley dog park

developed in 2003 in the center of kansas city missouri. slightly more than two acres recently expanded to more than three acres with a separate area for small dogs. the park is supported by the kansas city missouri parks department and donations of time and money from private organizations. if this dog park were not available i might not be able to keep the three year old standard poodle i adopted when she was a cancer survivor. she has a free spirit and loves to run. i've adopted three other standards over the last 40 years and this girl is the only one i can't trust off lead at my house where a fenced yard is not possible. the downside is that this is the only dog park in kansas city missouri.
