I sm so sorry for your loss
by: Anonymous

I am so sorry that you lost your buddy. I am quite a bit older than you and have lived through the natural deaths of several of my standard poodles and it is nevery easy to lose a loved one. Each was unique and special. I am glad you were introduced to the standard poodle and came to know about their wonderful personalities. When you are ready, you may want to consider rescuing another standard poodle. I have rescued four and love each and every one of them. So many people judge poodles by their coats (as people are judged by their gender, race, etc.) hwoever, I tell folks, their are regular dogs in fancy coats, although extremely intelligent. I lost one of my std. poodles last year to cancer and adopted two more. Our household is crowded but happy. Again, I am so sorry you lost your buddy.
