Hooray for you and your looney girl

Thank you for writing about your special girl. I don't recall that you mentioned her name. What do you call her? I loved the adjectives you used for your girl: clever, affectionate and funny. That is the standard poodle in a nutshell. I would only add that they are incredibly sensitive to the moods of their people. If you are sad then they are sad and their mission is to comfort you and pull you out of whatever funk you are in. You are a hero in my heart for rescuing that girl and loving her looniness. I like to think that we are here to make life easier for each other. Hug your silly girl. You have clearly made life better for her.

Not So Looney

Hi Standard Poodles are not looney, the owners are I know I have had 8 standards since 1962 and must have been looney to take on a breed who know how to twist you around their little paw and climb into your heart It was meant to be that your poodle found you and in return given you love and affection over these years Terry,Oscar White male and Priscilla a black female Newcastle
