I understand why some dog lovers do not return a lost pet, accidents do happen but most people that really love there pets do not take chnaces letting them get out, I personally would return any pet but I do understand that someone would not trust the person that lost it so they would not return it, and hopefully they give your pet a good home if that was the case. Be careful and don't take chances.
