Missing My George 3/17/09

by Courtney Rowe

George

George

I rescued my Poodle last summer. His owner had put him in a crate outside on one of the hottest Georgia summer days. He had been out there for at least 10 hours before I found him. He was left with no shade, water or food. He was the most crazy little dog I had ever seen. He wouldn't walk on hardwood floors and being that is mainly what is in my house....I carried him from room to room. He LOVED popcorn and movie nights! Whenever he was let outside and it was time for him to come back inside, he HAD to run around the whole house before he would come in and as he would come up our brick steps he would run so fast he would hit his legs on the brick steps so hard he'd leave hair! He was just like a baby! I called him my special needs poodle. Around Christmas he started having seizures so we would have to hold him until he got over it. He took up so much time in my life. He past away yesterday (3/17/09) He ran onto the main Hwy in front of our house and got hit by a car. I will truly miss him. I find it hard being at home without him right by my side.
