Mary Lou moma of Rosie

by Mary Lou Scott
(Portland, OR)

Rosie is a beautiful black standard Poodle. We purchased her from a kennel in Oregon about 11 years ago. She is our best friend and really does love everyone.

Always happy, although she had a rough patch last Sept. along with the rest of us when our 14 year old cattle dog passed on.

Well the past few weeks she's been pretty fussy about eating - not normal for her - now last night and today won't eat or drink anything!

We've had her in to the Vets for xray, ultrasound etc. It would appear her time is just getting close. And I'll have a very hard time and will mourn her forever.

One of the things that always made people really laugh was she smiled - ear to ear - all of her teeth showing. She would do it on que., but it would also give her away, if we'd been gone and she'd done something naughty - she'd show us all her teeth and we knew to start looking.

While she is still here we'll pamper and love her and let her move on with all her grace and glory.
