LuLu a Parti girl

LuLu in April 2007 - Her 1st grooming after being adopted

We adopted Lulu in April 2007 from an SPCA in upstate Pennsylvania. We had been looking for a Standard for some time knowing one would be the perfect hard-playing companion for our Rotty, Romeo. When we first saw her she was cowering in her kennel at the SPCA dirty with pee stained legs up to her chest. She was kenneled with a companion dog and would not leave his side - good thing too, because that was the only way anyone could catch her.

Her history is spotty at best. We beleive she was a kennel breeding bitch somewhere between 3 and 4 years old, which would account for her unsocialization. She and Romeo bonded instantly and Romeo has been instrumental in helping to train and put her at ease.

She had obviously been groomed and handled because she knows the drill. We have worked hard to socialize and handle her and she is responding well. She is a great dog with a sense of humor and a rough & tumble play ethic. She has made a great addition to our home.
