The standards are so remarkable, I agree. They're not "dogs". I work with a lot of dogs and I personally have a standard poodle. Occasionally, not often, we get in standard poodles and when you look into their eyes, it's like looking into a person's. The other kinds of dogs, even the smarter ones, have a doggy vacant look but you know the poodles understand fully what's going on.

I love how they bond so closely and get along so well with other dogs. The mouthing behavior is adorable, they remain puppies forever! Lol. But it's nice how they settle down as they get older. They're so wild as puppies.

Even people who don't like dogs are drawn to my Ginger. She turns heads everywhere she goes. It's not just that she's gorgeous, she's also so sweet and intelligent, she puts people in awe.
