Jewelry for Poodle Lovers!

About a year and a half ago I decided I was unhappy with the stress of the corporate world and sitting in front of a computer working for someone else, so, after much thought, I decided to quit work and work on the two things I really loved doing, working on my Standard Poodles website and creating jewelry and other crafts. I finally had the time to let my creative side shine!

Creating jewelry and other crafts has always been a passion of mine and I consider it somewhat like therapy. It is so relaxing, puts me in a good mood and gives me a sense of accomplishment. It is so easy to lose track of time when you are making something beautiful to share with others. I could do it all the time, but someone has to do the housework too!

I enjoy working with gems, stones, crystal, clay and whatever I think would look good in a piece that I am creating. Each piece is hand-made using new and vintage materials. I’m always learning, experimenting and trying new techniques. My mind is so full of ideas and designs that sometimes I think I will never be able to make them all! Once I’m finished with a piece, sometimes I find it difficult to part with them and wish I could keep them for myself!
