Jack March 20th 1999 --- Feb 24th 2009

Jacky Doodle my Poodle.

Jacky Doodle my Poodle.

I got Jack when he was 7 weeks old. He was a cute little bundle of black fur.
He cried all night the first night for his Mommy but soon settled in with his new family.
My kids were 2 & 5 at the time, I could completely trust him with them, he was protective, sweet, loving, gentle, fun.
I miss him so much, just this past christmas I noticed a lump on his shoulder,I took him to the vet and they said they were not sure what it was but they could remove it.I decided to get a second opinion, they said it was cancer and to operate would be intensive and he might die. Within 4 weeks Jack had lost alot of weight and was hardly able to walk even though he still got excited when I got his leash.I would talke him outside he would walk a few steps and the collapse. The Sun before he died he could not eat or drink. I decided to have him put out of his misery. I hated making the choice, I have felt guilty,I have not been able to stop crying. It has been a week now and I still feel so sad, I hear him in the house only to turn and not see him.I loved him so much and he will be forever in my heart. I feel for all you poodle lovers out there. Poodles are definately children in fur. R.I.P Jack ,you will always be loved and never ever forgotten. Paula.xxxxxx
