I have lost six standards during my lifetime (74 years) and know the sorrow our friend has felt. But just think that they are not dead for the spirit lives on and think of them as haing cast off the body like an old suit of clothes, for they are and always be with you. God Bless they ahad

My Mac by: Macs Mom
I just lost my Standard Big Mac the Saturday before Christmas. He was 13 years old. I to lost him to canine bloat, it was such a sad day. He can never be replaced. Today I will meet my rescue Standard, her name is Winnie she is 3 years old I do hope this all works out. I am somewhat afraid of getting another Standard but I do think I am doing the right thing.
I don't know where youlive, but maybe look into a rescue.
