R.I.P

Sorry guys, I don't have a poodle, but my dog's name was Timberlin and she was a german shepard chow mix. We had her about seven years. She was about two when we got her.

She died about three weeks ago but a still am having trouble moving on. One minute I'll be fine then the next I start sobbing.

This is what happened. We took a vacation to Hawaii for a week and when we got back we picked Timberlin up from the people that were watching her. Everything seemed to be fine, but she had a fluffy coat so we didn't see anything wrong. But, then as the weeks passed, when we petted her, we noticed that we could feel her ribs. So, then we started trying to get her to eat something and she wouldn't. So, we made an vet appt. Then after a while we noticed that she barley ever got up to do anything and the appt. was in days. My mom took her in later the next day. They took some x-rays and saw some air pockets that were much bigger than they were supposed to be. So they schedualed her for an exploritory surgery the next day. After the surgery they told us that she had a tumor. She was still recovering when we went to visit her the next day. She looked so much better and we got her to eat something. They said she would be going home the next day.

When I was in school my dad came to pick me up. I didn't know why, but then he told me that she hadn't made it through the night. I was devistated. The last time I saw her when we were walking out of the room she looked at me and it was like she was saying, "where are you going?, you're supposed to take me with you." Now I don't know what to do. I feel so lost. It feels so empty in the house without Timberlin.
