We have 2 Standards and we rescued 2 from a puppy mmill, had then spayed and cleaned up. They have since gone to new homes and YES, WE STILL MISS THEM.

I'm sol happy for you. Sounds like Lilah is the lucky one! I still miss my foster Olivia who was rescued from a puppy mill in Quebec. I didn't keep her and I like to foster and you can't keep them all. I already have a teckle/jack russel mix that I adopted after fostering. Every day I regret not adopting Olivia. Someday I will have a standard of my own.
