I just lost "King Louie" to old age. He was 80 pounds. He also slept on the bed until his old legs couldn't get him up there anymore. The whole in my heart is huge. Hug Coco for me.

Help me with my Standard Poodle by: debra
Good Morning, I rescued a SP a few weeks ago. He is about 2 yrs old, beautiful, and well behaved. But, one problem I am not sure what to do about. He is very scared of everything! He is even scared of me when I come home, he will hide for hours. It seems as soon as it gets dark he will go outside with no problem, but during the day I have to force him to go in the back yard, and then he sometimes just stands there very scared. I have a doggy door that he refuses to use....he seems very scared of that also. I have been very patient but not sure if there is something else I should be doing? I would love anyones thoughts on this.
