Chatfield State Park Dog Park, Denver, CO

by Beate
(Colorado)

This Dog Park is part of a beautiful state park with a big reservoir.

Dogs are allowed on leash on all paths and within the dog park area off leash of course.

You can drive into the park ($7 daily admission/$55 annual pass) or park your car just outside the East Entrance and walk the short distance to the dog area.

There is a clean and always open restroom for the human companions and a water pump to quench Fido's thirst. The off leash itself is aprox. 75 acres area with two lakes and a pond to swim in and run around, lots and lots of paths and "wild dicovery" areas for your canine.

This park is very popular with dog owners and your dog will always make plenty of new friends. It gets pretty busy on weekends but there's always enough room for everybody.
