Charleston County Park - South Carolina, James Island

Charleston County has several great dog parks, James Island being our favorite. It is serarated into two parts, one for large and small dogs. It is bounded on most sides by a fence, but on one side bya large pond, perfect for swimming! There are 3 'beaches' to choose from, allowing dogs of differing energy levels to play together. Most of the owners, by far!, are repsonsible and engaged. Our 9 month old, August, has a complete blast, and it known as the 'pretty boy' of the park. Although, most people are blown away by his athleticism and grace. I take a little too much pride when he out-fetches, out-runs, and out-swims the labs and retrivers! :)
