I have a beautiful standard poodle male cream who is 4 here in Shell Beach Ca . My health is getting so bad I cannot hold a brush any more without a lot of pain... I love this dog with all my heart..But my health is so frail and my relationship is over.That's good news. . So it is just me. My dog is so smart and i take him out daily. I play fetch in the park an he goes to the beach for sunset run in dunes..I have liver disease.. My weight is wasting. He needs more then this and most of all he loves other standards. I rescued him at a year old. So he is nippy with dark dogs.. He just is scared. He has and is one of the prettiest standard poodles i have ever seen. Not that way when I got him.Needs Much love and care.blondehare@charter.net
I need to be realistic about this and it is not easy. i am in tears as i write this.. If my health just would get better but tests show not going to happen.This dog is with me 24 7. Goes to Wal-Mart with me and makes the world happier.He has been therapy of the best kind for me .He is to smart for words. I trained him myself and he walks with me with no leash. He is very very attached to me as i am him..So i have to know he is going to healthy people who can give him what is going to be less and less with me. I am on medications for lupus .

Hello...
I rescued a standard poodle fromj anticrueltysociety.org (downtown Chicago).
She is pitch black, 13 mo., spayed, microchipped and trained. An Angel.....
de-LILAH ... LILAH is going to be groomed by me at home. All of you 'home groomers' out there....
What do I need... such a blade size etc.... She will be kept in a lamb/puppy cut.... shorter snout and feet. That's it...

Tinlet.com has a gorgious Silver girl for sale AND she supports a poodle rescue carolina poodle rescue I think....either way check out her site. Great background in their dogs - Very reputable and the link to the rescue is on the site.

You should check out www.petfinder.com. They have great spoos on there from time to time. Also if you are willing to fly to a rescue shelter in the south, Carolina Poodle Rescue sounds like an excellent poodle rescue organization that might be able to help you find your perfect companion. I too live in the tri-state area and am looking to adopt a standard poodle. Good luck!
