Annabelle Comes Home

In March we had to put our standard poodle "Lucyanne" down. She was almost 15 and we had her since age 8weeks. My husband and I were grief stricken. Our 19 year old cat stopped eating. I checked out petfinders and there was "Annabelle". She was approx 18 months old and had never lived in a house.I contacted the rescue immediately and we drove up to Orland and got her. That was exactly 12 days after losing Lucy.Standards are scare at rescue centers in Northern Calif.
Annabelle is a wonderful loving pet. She loves having a warm bed indooors and we have a large yard for her to roam as well as her twice daily walks. The cat died in June and we are now looking for another standard to rescue.
