How aweful!
by: Anonymous

I was so sorry to read your terrible story! Yes, I think the last post was right, just get the dog and go straight to the vet and get them shot up with everything under the sun, again. Just to be triple sure. I lost a puppy once in between their first and second Parvo shot series. AND they caught it at home! apparently some dog walked through our front yard who infected my puppy as I had never taken her away from the house except to the vets. Very sad indeed.

Pups
by: Anonymous

Hi again,
We have two female black girls and a red male. We will be breeding when they are old enough and all tests are ok. I will be happy to give you one for the cost of the shots and first check up. I am just not sure of the time. They are 6 mo. old and the red male is 1 year. Let me know if you want f or m. The breeders I went to are all around 1000 to 2500 plus shipping.

RE: Did we meet...
by: Anonymous

Hi Virginia!
Yes indeed we did meet you and your daughter at Target. Thank you for your kind words. It's so hard to lose a member of your family and I do hope that others that get a puppy will ask their vets about getting one more booster at 3 months when they get their rabies shot. Trust me, it's much, MUCH better to be safe than sorry.

Hope to see you sometime again too. We would love to meet your Red Poodle!!!

Ken and Star

p.s. If you know any reputable breeders in our area that might be willing to make us a special deal, please let us know. (We have lots of love but not much $$$. lol)
Thanks!

Did we meet at Target
by: Virginia

Hi,
I think we met you and your service dog at Target one day. My daughter has a std. poodle male
and a red toy puppy. I am so sorry for your loss. Your story will help other puppy owners I'm sure.
We wish you the best and hope to see you at the dog park.

Go with breeder to the vet on shot day
by: Heather Ryan

Yes, perhaps it is best to take the puppy yourself to the vet or go with the breeder on the day she takes all the puppies for their shots. If the breeder resists, then you know something is wrong.
