AVIP on Cleveland St in Clearwater Florida is by far the cleanest, most efficient, and friendly boarding, day care, grooming salon we've ever frequented in our lives. Husband and I are retired, and have high maintenance fur kids e.g. standard poodles and shih tzus. We've always had multiple pets, and because of former unsatisfactory (to suit our particular pet care ideals) conditions of boarding, day care, grooming, training, facilities, we began a 25 year span of using 2 pet vet tech/nannies/groomers to come into our home when we traveled.

Upon moving to Florida through a professional association with AVIP the owner Jaycee Roth; I began using her gooming services for starters. I found fair and competitive prices, no drugging, no harsh words or jerking the pets around to make them behave. Everything is included in the advertised price - nails, glands, ears, everything. The haircuts are always adorable - never any nicks, or skin scuffs - although occasionally a minor nick is expected - not in AVIP. Immaculate bathing-grooming areas.

Included is the reassurance that AVIP has a terrfic relationship with an awesome vet just 5 minutes down the street incase of immergencies, and very importantly there is always adequate staff to regularly pick poop in the inside/outside play areas and are never too busy for a good ear rub!!

To repay a small portion of Jaycee's countless kindnesses, when at one point in time she was short handed I offered to go in early with her to help her with "fall house cleaning before the snowbird season". After I finished I told Jaycee that had I been paid to do the job, I couldn't take the money. Her facility was beyond immaculate which in my mind, was amazing for the off season 4-5 dozen day care dogs on any given day. Amazing! Wonderful clean beds, chairs, rugs, and even a 45" flat screen television - 3-4 times/daily to race around a gigantic immaculate poop free back yard

******TRUST ME ON THIS ONE I ADMIT TO BEING OCD CLEAN! WHEN I SAY AVIP IS IMMACULATE I KID YOU NOT********

I would recommend A Very Important Pet to all locals needing boarding, day care, grooming services especially the very fussy fur moms and dads. For "snowbirds from the north". I would have given my "left boobie" for AVIP when we visited Florida years ago - it would have been great fun to take the fur kids with us instead of leaving them home and snow.
